The IQAir HealthPro Plus has again been named the “Best Buy” for home air purifiers in the Premium category by Consumers Digest Magazine.

The new ratings will appear in the January/February 2011 edition of the magazine.

The article lauds the HealthPro Plus filtration system, noting that “no other air purifier has this model’s combination of four stage filtration, which includes high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) and activated charcoal; six fan speeds (most models typically have three or four); and a remote control.”

The article pointed out that “tried and true” technologies such as HEPA filtration remain “the most effective (technology) for air purifiers.”
